Veolia Port Botany Topping Slab Repatriation Works

Lucan Engineering was involved in the repatriation works of a suspended slab at Port Botany Transfer Station. The 250 square metre topping slab process involved:

  • Scabbling the existing slab.
  • Drilling holes for starter bars, installing SL82 mesh.
  • Concrete pumping and the concrete pour.
  • The works also involved the replacement of the steel pit edge to allow for it to meet level with the new slab.
  • The process was completed in three stages, allowing the waste facility to continue operation during the construction process.
