Conveyor Lid Press Machine

Lucan Engineering was engaged to design, manufacture and supply a driven Lid Press to suit varying heights of Pails. The machine would de-nest the plastic lids and rotate and move them into position above the containers on the existing conveyer. Once the lid and the container were in the correct positions the machine would press the lid on and then release the container to continue along the conveyer.

This project involved:

• Mechanical Design and preparation of manufacturing drawings.
• Project Engineering and Management
• Mechanical equipment manufacture, supply and assembly.
• Electrical localised automation and control supply and assembly 
• Pre-delivery factory tests at Lucan Engineering
• Installation and commissioning.
