Lucan Engineering has an extensive in house manufacturing facility including a full machine shop combining, CNC and manual machine tools, a separate metal cutting, bending fabrication shop as well as a large assembly warehouse.
This in house manufacturing facility supports the internal processing of components for all Lucan Engineering’s projects.
Design
The Design team at Lucan Engineering are highly qualified technical personnel who have extensive experience in conceptual and mechanical engineering design and preparation of manufacturing drawings for new production machinery.
Our design engineers are equally skilled in custom designing enhancements and modifications to existing machinery, to meet new and challenging demands of production, as market trends dictate.
Equally our design team can provide services for the design of jigs, fixtures, robot grippers and extrusion dies.
Lucan Engineering has combined its technical design skills with an eye for ascetic detail and worked in the area of Architectural Steel Design. Lucan Engineering has designed and built lobbies and stairways in numerous Hotels and Commercial Buildings.
Research & Development

Lucan engineers have years of Project Management experience in machine building, special projects and production plant management. The experience gained by Lucan Engineering in all these areas, allows our project management approach to work around the production requirements of our customers. We understand that typically the time frame for installation and commissioning of projects is not that long, so it is critical that this be considered at the design stage of the project, so as to minimise production down time.
Our project manager’s work closely with our mechanical designers and manufacturing facility, to ensure your project is properly controlled across all aspects of the development timeline. All these project processes, including design, manufacture, assembly and factory trials are undertaken in house at Lucan Engineering’s facility prior to final installation and commissioning at the customers site.
